Lord, help me
As I practice law
To do the best I can
To always use it
For the good
To help my fellow man

May I work
Within the law
To guard the precious rights
Of those who have
Entrusted me
To settle their legal fights

Let me not abuse
My knowledge
Or use it just for gain
But protect
My fellow citizens
And help to ease their pain

Lord, let me practice
Your laws first
That everyone shall see,
The kind of godly lawyer
That you would have me be
